- Minimising chronic inflammation and biofilm
- Prontosan Irrigation Solution is a ready to use solution containing 0.1% Betaine and 0.1% Polyhexanide
- Betaine is a gentle effective surfactant which is able to penetrate, disturb, clean and remove biofilm and wound debris.
- Polyhexanide (PHMB) is a highly effective broad spectrum antimicrobial that is active against gram positive bacteria and yeast, including MRSA, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, VRE, Etc.
